At Early Settler, we pride ourselves on sourcing high-quality and truly unique furnishings that counter the cookie-cutter culture of mass-produced merchandise flooding the market. Among our new bathroom items, we’ve introduced two stunning new vanities — the farmhouse Clare and the mid-century Larsen — to offer buyers more choice in tailoring their bathroom look to their personal style or household aesthetic.
“We wanted to embrace the charm, comfort and country character of a farmhouse bathroom with the Clare vanity,” says Lisa Hunter, product manager with Early Settler.
“The pairing of rustic reclaimed pine timber with glass-reinforced concrete (GRC) offers a luxurious and modern take on the classic bathroom,” she says. “The chic matte-black metal hardware fitted on the classic sliding barn door gives the country style a contemporary boost.”

No country bathroom is complete without a freestanding bath with a high back, rolled rims and signature claw feet. It brings instant country vibes to the space.

Also set to be extremely popular, the Larsen vanity — which comes in a single-basin or double-basin model — captures the essence of glamorous mid-century design.
“There are many ways to interpret a mid-century design style — from eclectic or bold to subtle and understated,” says Lisa.
“The key feature that we focused on at Early Settler when creating the new Larsen range was ensuring each piece truly reflects the 1950s era with classic design features that will never go out of style,” she explains, in reference to the clean lines, natural look and diagonal legs, which are distinctive of the era.

The Larsen is available with either a standard sealed timber or luxurious jet-grey marble countertop, which contrasts beautifully against the cedar timber. “Buyers can pair this timeless aesthetic with bold tiles, splashes of colour or statement lighting to infuse their own style, palette and bathroom atmosphere,” Lisa adds.
